Vendor consistently demonstrates slow processing times and lackadaisical work ethic.
Recent order did not ship for an entire week (7 days) which is consistent with previous orders.
3 high-end orders arrived damaged. I was told that I'd have to "come and pick the items up in person" if I wanted a replacement.
They apparently do not value professionalism at their in-house customer service department which is managed by two highly unqualified employees (Rebbekah Supervisor / Liz - Manager) who only seem to be proficient at exacerbating customer complaints.
This is definitely not the professional online conglomerate with an outsourced call-center that you're used to. No, this is your lackadaisical mom and pop style retailer founded by 2 toy loving brothers in the backwoods of Wisconsin.
To get a clear picture of the work ethics behind the people running this company just consider their business hours.
They operate M-F from 7am to 3:30pm and are CLOSED on weekends.

Ah, so, that's why our orders take so long to process...?
They're more concerned about beating the rush-hour traffic than processing orders so they are certainly not going to lift a finger on the weekends.
This business is not built upon a sustainable foundation capable of longevity. It's poorly managed by unqualified employees with lackadaisical work ethics who don't value their customers and lack the motivation or desire to improve their business.
They act like they are doing you favor by selling to you. Sorry, but you're just a retailer selling the same items (albeit, much slower) than the next guy so you better rethink your approach to customer relations as your business is dispensable.
I'm taking my business ($10k annually) elsewhere.

They are slow because they source their inventory from EntertainmentEarth and they have to wait for their allotment to ship to their warehouse and when it does their lazy staff likes to drag their feet. Since they're only open until 3pm and closed on the weekends, you will experience long delays with processing your order.
Don't be surprised when you finally get your items 3 weeks after you requested shipment and your expensive items show up damaged. Then don't be surprised when you call them and discover how poorly managed their business actually is and how terrible and rude their "customer service" is.
We discovered that if you want quality service then you should just buy from the same professionals that they do, EntertainmentEarth.

Big Bad Toy Store is by far the best source for selection. prices, and service.
I am sort of new to the whole collecting of statues, figures, etc. For about two years I have tried many online stores including buying from the manufacturer direct, (will not name the but I am sure they are well known.)
Big Bad Toy Store has the best customer service, the pile of loot option is great and really convenient. the shipping rates are the lowest I've found.
The Customer reps are friendly, supportive, and stand by their products. You can actually get some one on the phone and they are very helpful.
Their selection is incredible.

This review applies to internationally shipped items, not those sent within the US. A mixed service in the end. Firstly I need to qualify that BBTS is NOT a scam company as some reviewers here have claimed. They are a genuine toy seller that are (I have to admit) just not as slick and well-oiled as their social media presence and website suggests. I made an order that on Jan 4th for a rare item that BBTS was selling at least 25% cheaper the minimum price on Ebay. It was still expensive, but now within my price range. The shipping estimate was two weeks from final shipping, which would have been a Jan 21st arrival. It ended up turning up on May 11th, after many stressful email exchanges, a refund that was then returned and numerous requests for an investigation turned down in order to 'wait' a bit longer. When the item turned up it was perfectly packaged and in perfect condition, so all ended well, but it was a stressful experience altogether. If you dont mind long shipping times with no warning as to when the item will show, BBTS are definitely for you. Look elsewhere however if you require reliable shipping and initial timeframes roughly met.
Recently i have Purchased 2 orders from Big Bad Toy Store and the variety that they offer is very impressive! As a fan of Pop Culture is it truly satisfying to see all the products from different franchises that they have in stock. The orders were quickly shipped and the quality of the packaging is excellent as well, with layers of bubble wrap protecting the products.
Amazing service! I pre ordered a toy and they took my money when they shipped it out which was about 2 months later. Received within two weeks when shipped out. Perfect condition.
I got an issue with my delivered item which is missing an accessory (skull throne) and the customer service is the worst, no accountability and lack of ownership, they blamed the vendor always during our conversation. I already canceled over 20 pre orders and will not ever do business with this cash grab company.
Very cool site and very good people. The only downside is, it takes forever for them to actually get products. But once they do, they ship very fast and very secure. Never had a problem.
I just have to say this is the best gundam website there is in my opinion! They have the best selection of kits. They have the greatest/friendliest customer service I have ever seen! All around amazing experience. Can’t wait to give them more business in the future.
I've ordered from BBTS a few times now and I've NEVER had an issue. Everything shows up in great condition and is packed extremely well. Yes, it can take a few days for them to ship at times, but I'm sure it's because they are busy and let's face it, no ones going to die because their package didnt get shipped out within 24 hrs lol. Pre-orders have been taking a while, but how can they ship what they dont have? They are waiting for the product the same as the rest of us. Rest assured, you WILL receive it as soon as possible. Honestly, The only bad reviews I'm seeing are from pretentious, impatient, and arrogant people who seem to think that only their time and money matter and that people should bow to their every whim. Look, I LOVE my action figures, but at the end of the day, they are just plastic and I'm not going to die because the store shipped them on a monday instead of Friday and took the weekend off. Plus, the pile of loot feature allows you to put as many items into it as possible, and will ship them ALL for only $4! That alone is pretty awesome. Especially when you have people on ebay who charge shipping that costs more than the item itself... long story short, trust BBTS, they are amazing!
I've been using BBTS for a couple years and have never been disappointed. They've always come through with orders. They package all orders up in a way that protects the merchandise.

I have been shopping with Bigbadtoystore for several year now and I felt I should write a review of my experiences with them. The store is very well laid out and fun to browse though. When I order and receive my item its always well packaged and the toy is in great condition. Customer service is brilliant, they've helped me replace broken parts that have been caused by my own stupidity. I recommend you give them a look.

Depends on where you live and you can't blame the seller. If ya want to be mad about shipping costs, be mad at UPS, USPS, FedEx, etc... they are the ones that set the rates. And in no way is that a reason to give BBTS a bad review.
